1. Lectio Divina is a traditional Prayer.

Today I learned about Lectio Divina it is about diffrent type of prayer

Dear God please help me to show kindness in everything I do. And to show kindness in everything that I do. Amen

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is when Jesus entered Jerusalem and people laid down palms and some people even wave palms for Jesus and his donkey to walk on to town. I think Mrs Tui  talking about Jesus is making is kind of True  and false because at the time he was showing off he is telling the crowd that he is the  messiah, and the son of god.

What is prayer

1. What is prayer? - prayer is when you talk to God about your feeling’s or thanking him for everything.

2. How do we pray? - You do the sign of the cross then you put your hands together and close your eyes then you can start praying to God after you finish praying,you say amen.

3. what stop us from praying? - The things that stop me from praying is someone being noisy also when i pray i get tired.

The Rosary

The Rosary is used for praying and it is  in the church or at home and it is not a necklace. When you say a prayer you do the sign of the cross in any language then you say the creed. You say our father once then after saying the our father you say Hail Mary ten times. After the Hail Mary you say the Glory Be, then you repeat it 4 more times.

St Pius X Feast Day

This week in Religious Education we are learning about St Pius X because it was his feast day today. When he became pope he started Holy communion for children. Pope Pius X did not want rich things because he was poor and he wanted to die poor. He helped the poor people and he gave his things out to the poor people.

We celebrate the Assumption because Mary’s body went up to heaven but not like us because when we die our soul only goes and our body stays. Some people say that Mary died and her whole body went up to heaven. Pope Pius decided that it is true that Mary’s body went to heaven and people believed.
